DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEV/ CEO OF ACCELERATE INNOVATION , LLC

For over 35 years of Ms. Gatewood has excelled in business development, marketing and branding in a wide range of industries including Publishing, Shopping Center Marketing, Environmental technologies, IP Camera, Management, Controlled Aquaponics,  Digital Technology/AR/VR, Healthcare, Real Estate, Project Development,  and E-Commerce, Roz has played many roles in entrepreneurial endeavors from business development, investor relations, to CEO of several of her own endeavors including Mallworks International, Touchworks International, ReInvent Veterans, LLC, and Ecovation Global Holdings,LLC.

Ms. Gatewood was Publisher of  Gannett Newspapers' Connecticut  weekly newspaper, Director of  Speciality marketing for 9 daily newspapers in the New York metro area and Director of Retail Product Development for the Newspaper Association of America. (2500 newspaper members)

Roz served as Executive VP of Business Development/Marketing for Destiny, an Eco-Sustainable City (41,300 acre/64 Sq. Mile) project,In this role, Ms. Gatewood developed the benchmarks of Sustainability for the Destiny project honored by the Clinton Climate Initiative and the US Green Building Council as one of the 16 global Climate Positive Developments in the world.  Ms. Gatewood  was responsible for developing significant projects and JV ventures including te Destiny Clean and AG Tech Cluster that attracted Regional, National, International companies and emerging technology firms, Universities, Hedge Funds, Investment firms, REIT’s and NGO’s. Roz launched the first Sustainable Farm to Fuel pilots in 

Florida. Destiny's proposed 1500-acre Energy Independence Park focused on the synergistic relationships of the inputs and outputs of the tenants from Aquaculture, Waste to Energy, Gasification, Torrefaction, Hydrogen, Biomass, Solar, and other sustainable technologies.

Ms. Gatewood, along with her husband, Fred Romano and  members of Accel IP Law and the Accel Advisory board members have launched Accelerate Innovation, LLC, an incubator for emerging technologies to provide mentoring and an  integrated strategy from business formation, technology analysis, IP valuation, branding/marketing  to the steps to commercialization. Accelerate Innovation, LLC focuses on Veterans, Minorities, Woman-owned businesses to the entrepreneurs with solutions that are socially and environmentally conscious.
